SUPER Y JUNIORS (BOYS AND GIRLS, U8 - U12)

A program aimed towards the development of Boys and Girls ages 8-12.  The program is designed for competitive Classic, Challenge, and Academy level players.  Registration is open to both TFC and non-TFC players.  Limited spaces exist, so please register early.

Training Groups
U8 - U12 Boys and Girls (players born between 08/01/06- 08/01/00)
* based on registrations players will be grouped according to age, ability and gender

Locations: Cedar Fork District Park 228 Aviation Pwky, Morrisville, NC 27560

Registration Fee
$150.00 per player (includes a t-shirt and all affiliated program costs)

Curriculum
Sessions will consist of progressive and dynamic activities which will foster the development of technical skills of the individual player within a game environment.  In addition, players will learn small group tactics through the use of small sided games.

Mondays

- individual and small group training stations (3x15 minutes)

- small sided games (30 minutes)

Thursdays

- game days (4 v 4 and 5 v 5)

Sample Topics Include

• 1 v 1 Duel (individual play on both sides of the ball)
• Combination Play and Playing in Small Groups (2 v 1, 2 v 2, etc)
• Transition (even numbers, numbers up, numbers down)
• Attacking Principles of Play (penetration, possession, depth, width, mobility, improvisation)
• Defending Principles of Play (pressure, cover, support, balance, compactness, depth)
• Goal Scoring

Staff

TFC prides itself in offering the highest level of staffing for all of our programs.  Sessions will be lead by TFC Directors, Full-Time Staff, as well as current Railhawks Players and Coaches. In addition, college and club players and coaches will be on site.  Each staff member has a gift and passion to work with the youth player.
